As the Principle Investigator of the Laboratory of Environmental Health (LEH), I am interested in understanding the environmental impacts to the health of humans and animals. I obtained my PhD in Pathobiology of Veterinary Medicine and had my postdoc training in human medicine. Therefore, I can address environment related health issues with a variety of human tissue and animal models. We received funding support from NIH, NSF, DoD, as well as the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). The detailed research topics can be found on my lab website.
