The FABEMM! (Functional Anatomy and Behavioral Ecology of Marine Mammals!) lab uses innovative techniques that integrate anatomy, physiology, behavior, and ecology to assess three main concepts. First, we look at mechanisms of evolution that drive diverse genital morphology in marine mammals. Second, we analyze the relationship between reproductive morphology and mating behavior in marine mammals. Lastly, we observe the population biology of local bottlenose dolphins.
