Biomedical Sciences Program

The Biomedical Sciences Program offers a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences Degree that prepares students for professional careers related to human or animal health and safety.

This program is a unique blend of course work and experiences that gives students a broad conceptual framework while allowing them to focus on applied biomedical sciences, including Forensic Science.

Program Goals of the BIMS Program:

  • Identify the career and vocational needs of students;
  • Personalize the educational experience of the students by assisting them to connect with peers and potential future employers;
  • Motivate and nurture students to find their niche in the various biomedical areas;
  • Train students to be successful in biomedical careers commensurate with their interests, skills and abilities;
  • Provide opportunities for students to do original research.
