Qualifications	Bachelor's degree in the Science and Technology field. One (1) to two years of molecular and chemical instrumentation experience.
Preferred Qualifications	Bachelor's degree with postgraduate work and/or Master's degree in the Science & Technology field.
Job Duties	Perform maintenance and repairs on scientific laboratory equipment in the Life Sciences and Physical & Environmental Sciences departments including the core molecular facility, train personnel to use chemistry and molecular core instrumentation, coordinate the use of the molecular core facility, maintain records and calls to tech support as needed, develop procedural manuals, supervise student workers, and perform other duties as assigned.
Special Notes	Employment Classification: Exempt - this position is full-time, may exceed a 40-hour work week, and is exempt from Fair Labor Standards and Practices overtime compensation requirements. THIS IS A SECURITY SENSITIVE POSITION. CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON A SUCCESSFUL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION.
