Postdoctoral Research Associate 12/02/2010 The preferred candidate should have a recent PhD (within the past five years) in an appropriate field of science or engineering. Experience in lab experimentation using plasmas and microwave/RF or other techniques, and demonstrated an aptitude in design, installation and experimentation. Additional desirable expertise includes plasma diagnostics, data analysis, design of experiments, data acquisition and controls and plasma modeling. Experience in LabView controls, DAQ, creating .vi programs could be additional benefit. Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as within a team environment.
