Currently the Center for Coastal Studies has a cooperative agreement with the Texas General Land Office - Asset Inspection Division which provides funding for two (2) graduate student internships. These positions allow students the opportunity to gain real world experience and work side by side with experienced scientists, conservationists, and resource managers.

Matt Hubner and Jackie Staggs are our interns for the Texas General Land Office. Matt and Jackie conduct field inspections and prepare reports, memoranda, and letters for proposed and existing projects on state-owned coastal lands under the guidance of the TGLO.
