Graduate Studies

Geology faculty currently supervise graduate students in the Environmental Science Masters program on geological topics. This program offers a thesis and non-thesis option. Please contact the program coordinator for the Environmental Science program, Dr. Jennifer Smith-Engle, for details about the program, and geology faculty members to discuss your research interests. General information about graduate study at TAMU-CC, including the application process and deadlines, are found on the web sites of the College of Graduate Studies. This site also contains information for international students.

Several of the geology faculty are also affiliated with the PhD program in Coastal and Marine System Science. This program, started in Fall 2005, is an interdisciplinary program seeking to understand the interaction of physical, chemical, and biological processes that shape coastal and marine environments. For questions regarding the program contact Dr. Thomas Naehr and, for your specific research interests, the members of the CMSS PhD faculty.
